HEALTH CARE RESOLUTION HJR 37 & SJR 72

Florida Health Care Freedom Act qualifies for 2010 ballot

I spoke today with Steven in Senator Baker's Office and he stressed the importance of the battle ahead. The Health Care measure will now be placed on the Florida Ballot to be voted on by the electorate in November. Now the real work begins of informing your friends, neighbors, and co-workers of the importance of passing a Constitutional Amendment that will reinforce what Attorney General McCollum and Mat Staver are doing to STOP Obamacare in its tracks.

Please thank the Sponsors of this resolution for working so hard to consider the interest of the people.

The federal mandate violates individuals' and states' rights. "If you believe in medical freedom; if you believe in individual rights, if you believe that you alone should have the right to decide what health care plan is best for you and your family -- if you believe in these fundamental values that our founding fathers believed in … you need to support this legislation," said Baker.

if approved by voters, would ban any laws that require people to participate in a health care system. A minimum of 60% of voters must approve the amendment in order for it to take effect
